WHEN CHRIST DELIVERS THE KINGDOM TO THE FATHER

June 27, 2018 by Ken Blue

WHEN CHRIST DELIVERS THE KINGDOM TO THE FATHER

  1. CHRIST IS THE FIRST FRUITS TO BE RESURRECTED IN A GLORIFIED BODY-
  2. CHRIST’S FOLLOWERS TO BE RESURRECTED ACCORDING TO THEIR ORDER-
  3. CHRIST DELIVERS THE KINGDOM TO GOD AT THE END OF THE THOUSAND YEAR KINGDOM-
  4. CHRIST WILL SUBDUE ALL POWERS DURING HIS THOUSAND YEAR REIGN-
  5. CHRIST WILL DESTROY THE LAST ENEMY, DEATH-
  6. CHRIST WILL BECOME SUBJECT TO GOD AT THE END OF HIS THOUSAND YEAR REIGN-
  7. GOD WILL RULE OVER ALL THINGS AS HE DID IN THE ORIGINAL CREATION-

“But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.  For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.  For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.  But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.  Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.  For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.  The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.  For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.  And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.” 1 Corinthians 15:20-28.

“GIVE NONE OFFENCE, NEITHER TO THE JEWS, THE GENTILES, THE CHURCH OF GOD:”

June 22, 2018 by Ken Blue

“GIVE NONE OFFENCE, NEITHER TO THE JEWS NOR TO THE GENTILES, NOR TO THE CHURCH OF GOD:”  (1 Corinthians 10:32).

By Ken Blue
CHURCH OF GOD

IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO UNDERSTAND THE SCRIPTURES RIGHTLY UNTIL WE UNDERSTAND HOW TO DIVIDE THEM RIGHTLY. FAILURE OF THIS RULE OF BIBLE INTERPRETATION HAS LED TO ALL KINDS CONFUSION AND MISAPPLICATION OF GOD’S WORD. THE FOLLOWING VERSE IS NOT UNDERSTOOD OR IT IS IGNORED TO THE SHAME OF MANY COMMENTATORS.

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.  But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.” 2 Timothy 2:15-16.

1 CORINTHIANS 10:32 REVEALS A DIVISION, NOT OF TIME, OR EVENTS, OR PLACES, BUT OF GROUPS OF PEOPLE. THESE CONSIST OF THE JEWS, THE GENTILES (NON JEWS OR THE CHURCH), OR THE CHURCH OF GOD. EACH OF THESE MUST BE DEALT WITH SEPARATELY AND IN THEIR PROPER CONTEXT. THIS, WITHOUT A DOUBT, IS THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE OF BIBLICAL INTERPRETATION. THE SECOND RULE IS TO TAKE ALL SCRIPTURE LITERAL AS FAR AS THE CONTEXT WILL ALLOW. IN OTHER WORDS, DO NOT MAKE THE FIGURATIVE LITERAL, OR THE LITERAL, A FIGURE OF SPEECH.

DID YOU KNOW THAT ONLY ONE-THIRD OF THE NATION OF ISRAEL WILL SURVIVE THE TRIBULATION?

June 18, 2018 by Ken Blue

DID YOU KNOW THAT ONLY ONE-THIRD OF THE NATION OF ISRAEL WILL SURVIVE THE TRIBULATION?

The Tribulation

1. JUDGMENT WILL FALL ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST-

2.    JUDGMENT NEXT FALLS ON THE APOSTLES OF CHRIST-

3.    JUDGMENT WILL FALL ON THE NATION OF ISRAEL-

4.    JUDGMENT WILL DESTROY TWO-THIRDS OF ISRAEL

5.    JUDGMENT WILL REFINE AND PURIFY THE ONE-THIRD-

6.    JUDGMENT WILL BRING THE ONE-THIRD TO REPENTANCE-

7. JUDGMENT WILL BRING ABOUT A NEW BIRTH TO ISRAEL-

8     JUDGMENT WILL REFINE AND PURIFY THE ONE-THIRD-

“Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.  And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.  And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.” Zechariah 13:7-9.

“Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.” Daniel 12:10 .

Two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. Two parts of Israel will be destroyed in the future great tribulation, leaving only one part to be preserved alive to fight against Antichrist and make up the nation that will be born again in a day at the second coming of Christ (Zech. 13:8-9; 14:14; Rom. 11:25-29).

NO ZOMBIES!

June 18, 2018 by Ken Blue

NO ZOMBIES!

By Ken Blue

There is no proof that there will be a 40 day waiting period between the resurrection of the saints and the rapture. The charge for you to disprove the argument is like challenging you to PROVE that Peter did not kill his mother-in-law. You may not believe it, but there is no way you can PROVE he did not. That is the spider-web the zombie doctrine is built on.

Also, there are too many “ifs” and “maybes” in the argument. In addition, the use of Lot and Noah has no place or reference to the church of this dispensation. Those verses speak of the days of Israel. In that day, their coming Tribulation. In the day of the second coming, not the rapture (Lk. 17:34-37; Mt. 24:27-31; 25:31-46; Rev. 19:11-21).

The argument that zombies will spend 40 days witnessing may be appealing…The fact that the dead in Christ rise first, is not proof that there will be 40 days before the rapture. The only answer to that challenge, by the creator of this false doctrine, is, “I will be as critical of your answer as you are of mine.” What kind of proof it that?

Lastly, the argument that these zombies will spend those 40 days witnessing to the lost may be appealing, but that is not what the Apostles spent their time doing. See, “When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?” Acts 1:6. One may conveniently overlook the fact that they were required to WAIT 40 days for the witnessing power of the Holy Spirit.

Thus, belief in a zombie doctrine is a stretch of an imagination gone wild and an attempt to be novel and sensational. It may be novel, but it is not sensational. Neither is it validated by any Scripture, Nor should one give this novelty a serious thought.

PURGATORY

June 11, 2018 by Ken Blue

PURGATORY–AN INVENTION OF RELIGION
by Ken Blue
purgatoryIt is said that this is a place where men must go after death to purge their sins, but purgatory is totally an invention of man’s religion. The word purgatory comes from the word purge, and the Bible says that Christ “by Himself purged our sins” without any help from us (Heb. 1:3). The Lord told the dying thief, “Today shalt thou be with Me in paradise” (Luke 23:43). This is significant, since the inspired Word of God calls this man a thief, and it was his own testimony to the other thief that “we receive the due reward of our deeds” (v. 41). That is, he was admitting he had not been framed or misjudged but had indeed committed crimes worthy of the death penalty. If there was a Purgatory, this man would have gone there, yet we have the Lord’s word on it that he did not. If anyone needed to go to Purgatory, it was the carnal Corinthians! Yet Paul told even these sinful believers that they could be “confident” that “to be absent from the body” is “to be present with the Lord” (II Cor. 5:8). R. K.
