VOTE FOR A MORMON OR A MUSLIM?

One thing is certain; I plan to vote this fall. To not vote for one, is a vote for the other. But the question is; for whom do we vote? I am confident that Mitt Romney is a Mormon, and I could not disagree more with his Mormon doctrine. I have had many years to study and digest it, and it is not remotely close to Bible Christianity. However, we are not voting for a Pastor, but for a President. If you must have a Baptist, you might like Bill Clinton or Jimmy Carter.

I am relative sure also that I know the political philosophy of Barack Husain Obama, but I am not confident where he stands in the matter of religion. Is he a Muslim in disguise, a Baptist, or an atheist? If a Muslim, I know in detail what he believes. If he adheres to the Baptist doctrine that he sat under for fifteen years in Reverend Wright’s church, I also know what he believes. I have made a study of Black Liberation Theology, and so should every one before they vote. However, I am not confident to which of these he truly stands. However, we are not voting for a pastor, but for a president. So, inform yourself.

MY WAR WITH ALS

MY BED; GOD IS GOOD!

Ecclesiastes 8:8. “There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death: and there is no discharge in that war…”

Many of you are aware that I have battled ALS for some years. The average lifespan with ALS is five years. By the grace of God, I have survived with it for about seven years. God has blessed me through it all. However, I continue to lose the war. I am confined to a wheelchair, I have great difficulty getting in and out of bed, and my speech and swallowing are almost impossible.
The doctors want to insert a feeding tube, but I have refused to do that. I am thankful I can still use my hands to type. This is such an act of mercy from our loving Father. Thank you for your continued communication, and prayers for us.

What is ALS?
“ Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), often referred to as “Lou Gehrig’s Disease,” is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. Motor neurons reach from the brain to the spinal cord and from the spinal cord to the muscles throughout the body. The progressive degeneration of the motor neurons in ALS eventually leads to their death. When the motor neurons die, the ability of the brain to initiate and control muscle movement is lost. With voluntary muscle action progressively affected, patients in the later stages of the disease may become totally paralyzed.
A-myo-trophic comes from the Greek language. “A” means no or negative. “Myo” refers to muscle, and “Trophic” means nourishment–”No muscle nourishment.” When a muscle has no nourishment, it “atrophies” or wastes away. “Lateral” identifies the areas in a person’s spinal cord where portions of the nerve cells that signal and control the muscles are located. As this area degenerates it leads to scarring or hardening (“sclerosis”) in the region.
As motor neurons degenerate, they can no longer send impulses to the muscle fibers that normally result in muscle movement. Early symptoms of ALS often include increasing muscle weakness, especially involving the arms and legs, speech, swallowing or breathing. When muscles no longer receive the messages from the motor neurons that they require to function, the muscles begin to atrophy (become smaller). Limbs begin to look “thinner” as muscle tissue atrophies.
The body has many kinds of nerves. There are those involved in the process of thinking, memory, and of detecting sensations (such as hot/cold, sharp/dull), and others for vision, hearing, and other bodily functions. The nerves that are affected when you have ALS are the motor neurons that provide voluntary movements and muscle power. Examples of voluntary movements are your making the effort to reach for the phone or step off a curb; these actions are controlled by the muscles in the arms and legs.”

“I’m Jewish,” Palm Beach County Democratic chairman Mark Alan Siegel told Scottie Neil Hughes, a reporter attending the DNC who represents Patriot TV and the Tea Party News Network. “I’m not a fan of any religion of any religion other than Judaism.”

Hughes asked, “So, you’re not a fan of Christianity?”

“No, I’m not,” Seigel answered. “The Christians just want us to be there so we can all be slaughtered and converted and bring on the second coming of Jesus Christ. They (Christians) are not our friends. They want Israel to pursue policies that are antithetical with its security and existence.”

Seigel deflected a question from Hughes, determined to continue his diatribe.

“The worst possible allies for the Jewish state are evangelical Christians, who want Jews to die and convert so they can bring on the second coming of their Lord,” he declared. “It is a false friendship. They are seeking their ends and not ours.”

The Jewish Week, published in New York, reported that Seigel had been angered over the omission of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital in the Democratic Party platform.

NOTE: His comment was foolish and inaccurate. I don’t know of any Bible believing Christians who want Jews to die. Of course, Christians want all people to see that Jesus was Israel’s Messiah. Every man is right in his own eyes; even those of you who disagree with me. Any religion that says it is right, and yet, does not want others to convert to it is a fraud. I am a Christian, and I do not wish or desire any harm to come to any Jew. God wants Israel to understand that Jesus was their Messiah.  Keep in mind that the Scriptures were written by Jews.

ELLEN BARKIN HOPES HURRICANE KILLS ‘EVERY PRO-LIFE, XENOPHOBIC, GAY-BASHING SOB’ AT THE RNC

(LifeSiteNews.com) – In the aftermath of the Family Research Council shooting, prominent voices on the Left have not tapped down their violent rhetoric against their opponents. Two Baby Boomer celebrities have taken to Twitter to hope pro-life, pro-family individuals and U.S. Congressman Todd Akin suffer a drowning or a same-sex rape, respectively.

On Sunday, Ellen Barkin expressed her hope that Tropical Storm Isaac would smash up the Republican National Convention in Tampa and drown all its delegates.

She retweeted the message of one of her followers that read: “C’mon #Isaac! Wash every pro-life, anti-education, anti-woman, xenophobic, gay-bashing, racist SOB right into the ocean! #RNC ” Barkin did not express any disagreement in her retweet.

The storm is expected to grow into a Category 1 hurricane before slamming into the Gulf Coast on Wednesday, the seventh anniversary of Hurricane Katrina.
