FOR THOSE WHO DRINK A LITTLE WINE

November 22, 2018 by Ken Blue

FOR THOSE WHO DRINK A LITTLE WINE

  1. THEY HAVE WOES, SORROWS, CONTENTIONS, BABBLINGS, WOUNDS, AND RED EYES-
  2. THEY ARE UNDER ITS POWER AND INFLUENCE-
  3. THEY SEEK FOR WHORES-
  4. THEY LOSE CONTROL OF SPEECH-
  5. THEY ARE AS THOSE WHO ARE SEASICK-
  6. THEY HAVE WOUNDS WITHOUT CAUSE-
  7. THEY ARE STUPID, AND WILL DO IT AGAIN-

Proverbs 23:  “Who hath woe? who hath sorrow? who hath contentions? who hath babbling?

who hath wounds without cause? who hath redness of eyes?  They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek mixed wine.  Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, when it moveth itself aright.  At the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like an adder.  Thine eyes shall behold strange women, and thine heart shall utter perverse things.  Yea, thou shalt be as he that lieth down in the midst of the sea, or as he that lieth upon the top of a mast.  They have stricken me, shalt thou say, and I was not sick; they have beaten me, and I felt it not: when shall I awake? I will seek it yet again.” Proverbs 23:29-35.

THE PATH FOR BEAUTIFUL FEET

November 3, 2018 by Ken Blue

THE PATH FOR BEAUTIFUL FEET

  1. IT BEGINS WITH THE RESURRECTED CHRIST-
  2. IT IS AS CLOSE AS YOUR OWN HEART AND MOUTH-
  3. IT IS THE SUBJECT OF EVANGELISTIC PREACHING-
  4. IT IS THE GIFT TO THE BELIEVING HEART-
  5. IT IS GIVEN TO ALL WHO HEAR AND RECEIVE IT-
  6. IT IS THE REWARD TO THOSE WITH BEAUTIFUL FEET-

“But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)  Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)  But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.  For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.  How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?  And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!” Romans 10:6-15.

THE RESURRECTION OF CHRIST, THE CURE FOR ALL SICKNESS’.

June 24, 2018 by Ken Blue

THE RESURRECTION OF CHRIST, THE CURE FOR ALL SICKNESS’.

By Ken Blue

RESURRECTION

  1. THOSE WHO PROFESS TO BE CHRISTIANS MUST BELIEVE IN CHRIST’S BODILY RESURRECTION-
  2. PAUL PREACHED CHRIST’S BODILY RESURRECTION-
  3. IF JESUS WAS NOT RESURRECTED BODILY, PREACHING, AND FAITH ARE VAIN-
  4. IF JESUS WAS NOT RESURRECTED, THEY WERE STILL UNDER THE CURSE OF SIN-
  5. IF JESUS WAS NOT RESURRECTED, THE DEAD IN CHRIST ARE PERISHED-
  6. IF WE HAVE HOPE IN THIS LIFE ONLY, WE ARE MOST MISERABLE AND HOPELESS-
  7. HOWEVER, CHRIST IS RISEN AND WE HAVE A SURE HOPE IN HIM-

“Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?  But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:  And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.  Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.  For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:  And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.  Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.” 1 Corinthians 15:12-19. “If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.”  (1 Corinthians 15:19 KJV.)

THE ABSOLUTE SECURITY OF THE BELIEVER

June 23, 2018 by Ken Blue

THE ABSOLUTE SECURITY OF THE BELIEVER

By Ken Blue

  1. THE HOLY SPIRIT HELPS US IN ALL OUR FRAILTIES-
  2. THE HOLY SPIRIT KNOWS GOD’S PURPOSE FOR OUR INFIRMITIES-
  3. THE HOLY SPIRIT MAKES INTERCESSION TO THE FATHER FOR US-
  4. ALL THING WORK FOR GOOD FOR US-
  5. GOD HAS PREDESTINED US TO A GLORIFIED BODY LIKE CHRIST-
  6. THE BELIEVER IS JUSTIFIED AND GLORIFIED IN CHRIST-
  7. NO ONE CAN LAY ANYTHING OR CONDEMN US-
  8. JESUS CHRIST ALSO MAKES INTERCESSION FOR US-
  9. NOTHING CAN SEPARATE US FROM GOD’S LOVE-
  10. WE HAVE ABSOLUT SECURITY IN CHRIST-

“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.  And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.  For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.  Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.  What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?  He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?  Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth.  Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.  Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?  As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.  Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.  For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,  Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:26-39.
