“As a jewel of gold in a swine’s snout, so is a fair woman which is witout discretion.” Proverbs 11:22.
By Ken Blue
Men turned their heads to look, I couldn’t help but stare.
She was dressed to the max, in some frilly exotic thing.
Her eyes were ebony, black hair as a raven’s wing.
Jewels graced her neck and rings her hands and toes.
But most striking was the jewel that beautified her nose.
Then I became aware that I appeared hypnotized.
As I could tell she too was responding to my eyes.
With her subtle invitation, I walked to where she stood.
I sought for a pickup line, I’d better make it good.
I thought she was a fox – until her first verbal phrase.
Looks sure are deceiving if all you do is gaze.
She ask if I had a #@%! cigarette, I said, I don’t smoke.
She ask if I had a #@%! drink of whiskey and I said, nope.
Are you a @#% ! Sunday school boy. I said, yeah, that’s my deal.
She spewed out more profanity, and like a pig did squeal.
It may be hard to tell if you’re looking at a pig or a fox.
Don’t be deceived by the painted eyes or the gorgeous shiny locks.
Just wait till she opens her mouth and you’ll soon get the gig.
You’ll know for sure if she’s a fox, or just a dolled up pig.
