BOOK: Dispensationalism Misunderstood

December 8, 2014 by Ken Blue 4 Comments

This book silences those who reject the dispensational teaching of the Bible on the grounds that dispensationalism is a “recent doctrine” and founded by Darby. Dr. Blue not only shows the proper balance of dispensationalism, he quotes from the scholarly work of C.H. Crutchfield whose research shows right the opposite. Dispensationalism or “right divisions” of the Bible was taught, not only by the inspired writers, but by the early church fathers.

This book answers many of the shallow arguments given by those who reject dispensationalism. An excerpt: Before a child of God can move forward in serious Bible study, he must understand the different dispensations. Failure to understand the true teaching of dispensations has led many to make false applications of the Bible. Some, who do not understand the truth about dispensations, have attacked the teaching of dispensations and even refuse to believe they exist. The purpose of this booklet is to answer these objections and to help the reader understand the true nature of dispensations.

NOTE: currently out of print.

Why would time stand still? The 70th week of Daniels dream came directly after the 69th week and was the proclamation of the coming of Jesus Christ. His first coming, being born as a baby. Not his second coming as in Revelations as riding on a white horse coming of the clouds. Dispensationalist cannot exist if it were not for some thumped argument that Daniels 70th week comes some 2000 years after the 69th. No one whom understands Gods word as revealed by the holy spirit could except such notion. This idea has no supporting doctrine in Gods word. Whether or not it is new doctrine or old doctrine matters not to me. After all the great deceiver is plenty old. Old enough to twist the truth enough to make millions to believe what is a false doctrine. Not to me but to yourself you need to prove the existence of a single supporting piece of doctrine to agree with this fallacy. (Daniels dream of the coming christ) if not, then Sir you are being intellectually dishonest with yourself not only those whom you try to teach but within. Why would you do this!! To make sense of something taught to you that you did not understand? Because there might be something that God wants to keep to himself and we need to accept it. I was considering Open Book as a home body until I read your insistence of Dispensationalism now I shall look elsewhere. Too bad I really like Pastor Murphy.

I am not sure what you are referencing. There are many “parenthesis” in Scripture. If you are having a problem understanding that biblical principle let me know, and give me your email and I will send them to you. Thanks

I’m really enjoying the design and layout of your site. It’s a very easy on the eyes which makes it much more
pleasant for me to come here and visit more often. Did you hire out a designer to create your theme?
    Superb work!
