Thank You for this land where freedom is the prize.
Thank You for those securing it, laying down their lives.
Thank You for liberty where dreams are realized.
For these, we thank You Lord!
Thank You for my family; children and wife.
Thank You for the joy and purpose they give to my life.
Thank You for helping us through all our daily strife.
For these, we thank you Lord!
Thank You for the water, the food, and the air.
Thank You for giving shelter and the clothing we wear.
Thank You for a pillow; I lay my head down there.
For these, we thank You Lord!
Thank You for using me in your ministry.
Thank You for making us more than we could ever be.
Thank You for the countless believers now serving Thee.
For these, we thank You Lord!
Thank You for the comforts, of another day.
Thank You for Your presence upon life’s pilgrim highway.
Thank You for Calvary’s love; what more can we say?
For these, we thank you Lord!
Thank You for Your Word, creating faith within.
Thank You for a sure hope that will never, never end.
Thank You for Your great love that paid for all our sin.
For these, we thank You Lord.

Pastor,
Such beautiful sentiment! It reminds us that even in the little things we have much to be thankful for.
Thank you Pastor for your dedication to the Lord’s calling and for the the innumerable lives you have touched for the Father.
Dearest Pastor:
Thank you for that remarkable sermon you preached last night at Open Door Baptist Church. You did such a fine job making the demarcation between the Gospel (Good News) that the Lord Jesus Christ, preached in all four Gopels . . and the Gospel of the Lord’s death, burial and resurrection, which Paul calls “my Gospel” Rom 2:16;16:25.
Jewish people with whom I’ve spoken hate the Apostle Paul – they say he got everything wrong, and now it will be easier for me to point out to them WHY Paul preached a different Gospel than the Lord himself did. ….It’s because the Jewish people rejected their King and his offer of Gospel of the Kingdom, and thus The Lord Jesus Christ became the saviour of the whole world through the stunning acts of his death, burial and resurrection.
That Kingdom that the Lord Jesus promised to them, will become a reality; so they need to get their hearts right – and perhaps it will be very soon, now.
Have a good week!
Thank you Pastor Blue for reminding me of the many blessings I have from my dear Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is so easy to take these things for granted. This poem was indeed a blessing to me.
