To Heal or not to heal
By Ken Blue
Perhaps nothing has discredited Christianity or deceived more Christians than the “gifts and healing ministry.” These naive and misguided souls believe that the Kingdom ministry, offered to Israel during the transition period, is intended for the church, the body of Christ today.
We live in the dispensation of free grace. The sign ministry was designed to convince unbelieving Israel that Jesus was their Old Testament Messiah. With Israel’s rejection, the signs have been temporally set aside. This is easy to prove from Scripture and experience. When the Lord came to earth, He came to establish His earthly kingdom with the nation of Israel. Signs and wonders were a part of that ministry. However, when it became evident in the Acts period that Israel would not repent, the healing ministry disappeared with them.
Those who believe the miracle sign ministry is still here must be willing to admit that things are as they were in the Gospels and the Acts period. To believe otherwise, would be dishonest and deceitful. We say with assurance and confidence, that no believer has the gifts of healing or any of the miraculous gifts today. If we really believe those gifts are for the church and continue today, it should be easy to prove. Remember, the purpose of signs was to convince the unbelieving Jews that their Messiah had arrived.
…don’t fall for the healing hoax
Now let me ask you a few simple questions. If the signs are present today, wouldn’t they be an extension of those in the Gospels and Acts? Let’s see. Do you know any miracle worker who can turn water into wine? Do you know any who can feed thousands of people with a little bread and a few fish? Do you know anyone who was dead three days or more and called back to life by a faith healer? Do you know of one who was retarded and made whole in their mind through one with the gift of healing? Can you give us the name and address of any of the above, to whom we may write?
We hear a lot about those who claim to cast out devils and speak in tongues; but why stop there? Don’t you believe the rest of the verses? “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” Mark 16:17-18.
We don’t expect to receive any positive responses to the above. Why? Because no one possesses the miracle ministry gifts today. The above text and others like them were for a different time, people, and purpose. This is the dispensation of Grace, and God’s grace is sufficient for you in your infirmities. So don’t fall for the healing hoax. You don’t have healing authority nor does anyone else.

Sal and Barb says
Oh that is so true ,,,Just put the healers number on facebook!
Ken Blue says
Dont expect any to come soon
Well maybe you should tell that to all the successful healing ministries I’ve been a part of. I would say you may want to pick up a bible and read it. Focus more on that than being a false teacher.
The fact is healings are happening. I’ve been healed by one and so was my son.
I can only pray that God opens blind eyes for you.
Ken Blue says
Well, Justin, I am telling that to the faith healers. I have read my Bible many times, and through it, and the fake healers, is why I wrote the following challenge to them. I am going to give it to you. I do not expect you to answer the questions, instead, you will launch an attack. Here they are, go for it. I will give a list of questions on this subject. They are simple, and the respondent should be straight forward with his or her answers. Please don’t waste my time with your beliefs or hearsay. We want the truth.
1. Do you believe the miracle working power Jesus and the disciples had are present today?
2. Do you know anyone with those powers?
3. Do you know anyone who was dead three days or more and was raised from the dead?
4. Do you know of any mentally retarded person who was healed by the gift of healing?
5. Do you know anyone blind from birth, and a faith healer restored his or her sight?
6. Do you know anyone who could not walk for 40 years, and was restored by a faith healer?
7. Do you know a miracle worker who walks on water?
8. Do you know a miracle worker who feed thousands with a little boy’s lunch?
9. Do you know anyone with ALS that was healed by a faith healer?
10. Do you know anyone who had Alzheimer’s that was healed by a faith healer?
If you have positive answers to the above, please send us their name and address so we may contact them.
If you can’t validate the above, why would you expect us to believe you when you think you have the least important gift of tongues? We don’t!
Ken Blue says
One other comment sorry. The fact you’d ask if I knew if someone fed thousands with only a few loaves and fish is a very strange question. It makes me question if you think we are supposed to formulaically recreate all the miracles exactly.
Let’s flip the question, don’t you believe God can do that miracle again through men like you? Do you think it is your lack of faith that you can’t do it?
I will share this. I have a personal miracle that I will email privately that is so much more grand than that miracle of the feeding. Now this isn’t a friend of a friend. This happened to me personally in 1989 which is really what made me a believer. To top that I have 2 living witnesses. In fact, at my 20 year reunion I hunted them down to confirm it wasn’t a dream!!! And they verified. Crazy crazy.
Please have them to contact me.
Let’s open our mind not to what God can NOT do but to what He CAN! To limit God in any way is something we as Christians should not do for one, and can’t do for another! He does as He pleases! That is scriptural!
I am not limiting what God can do. I question those who make false claims that they cannot validate. That’s why I sent you the questions for their address.
Let’s flip the question again, Ken. Do you truly believe in your heart that God is limited and cannot give you the power to raise the dead, heal the sick, cast out demons, etc? Do you have such a limited god (lower case g). If you believe in my God you better dare not whisper those words, brother. \
Would you limit God is I ask you if he could turn a chicken into a peacock? Do you believe He will? Why not?
He is almighty! And some of his authority has been granted to YOU, his son. Your example is not the disciple in the bible! Maybe that’s the issue. You are his son! Your example is Jesus. He showed YOU through scripture what YOU are capable of doing.
When He shows me, I will. You are not Him.
And I’ve seen it done.
One point that was well made. There are MANY B.S. ministries out there especially in faith healing. I can assure you, though, that you’re fight should be with them not our Lord Jesus! And as far as I am concerned you have sided with the devil and are propagating your message to the world no different than atheist.com. You stand with them and it’s my love of God that will drive me to take your blasphemous message off the Internet.
First of all, I am not concerned about what you think. I think you are delusional and have no idea how to rightly divide the Scriptures.
Let me flip you a question. Do you love and believe in Jesus so much that it drove you to blaspheme Him? Is your message one driven from your love of God or is there something else going on there? Think this one through. Did you get ripped off by a filthy faith healer? Did a love one pass away and now you are angry at God. No really!!!
Like is said in my response. If you can’t deal with the questions, try the “you don’t love Jesus.” Are you so foolish that you think those who don’t agree with you are of the Devil? I think you need a real dose of healing.
Also, I assumed you’d just email me so it wasn’t my plan to make all this public. I am okay with this, though. It’s better to publically exclaim the truth. But if for personal reasons you don’t wish to respond publically could we maybe have a one on one via email or phone?
Everything is public. Go to
God bless you, Ken. Our debate doesn’t take away from that.
I am just one man so I don’t know all of the above, but I’ve seen enough in my own Christian walk to believe that yes I can raise the dead. I don’t know why you don’t believe your own bible. I am not attacking you. It just feels that way. It’s called conviction.
I don’t care what you believe, have you done it? If so, have them contact me.
Many times Jesus said we would perform these works and it’s truly your unbelief that prevents any power in your life. If you want to speak to me I’ll talk to you on the phone for 6 straight hours with just miracles I have personally been a part of. I’ve got before and after ultrasounds. I’ve got before and after MRI and Catscan. Things you would never be able to rationalize with your unbelieving mind.
I don’t need to talk to you. I want to talk to those you have raised from the dead.
Here’s my take on your faith. It’s too limited to be used mightily. I was like you once. And yes yes I know you’ve been a Christian for X years and read your bible Y number of times. I know I know I hear that all the time, but even Jesus said in Matthew many would come to him and say “Lord Lord” and he would basically say “get out of here I didn’t know you.”. That will be many supposed Christians when that day comes. So bible reading and casting demons out or number of years you knew God means zip.
What does mean everything is do you have a relationship with Jesus. Period. You don’t have to believe what I’m saying is true, you don’t have to heal the blind, you don’t have to minister to people, you just have to have a relationship with our Lord! Simple but not easy for many!
So you and I can have fun debating but your lack of faith is not necessarily mean you’re not a Christian! What it says to me, though, is you don’t believe the scriptures. Now that scares me! What it says to me is possibly you have not had the revelation of the Holy Spirit either because He does not dwell in you or because of your own issues unknown to me you just can’t hear him.
I can read, and it is you I don’t believe.
Most concerning is you not understanding or not believing scriptures. Maybe you don’t believe what Jesus said that we are to do greater things than he did.
Would you be open to me doing a “Bible study” right here on your site? If you’re truly a Christian you should be after the truth wherever it takes you, right? Would you permit me to do this right here? This is not me being a jerk. You don’t know me and I don’t know you. I’m sure you’re as sweet and kind as folks say I am.
No, I will not do any study with you. You don’t know the first thing about the Bible, and you are not teachable.
If there is any anger tone in my message I apologize. One thing I am NOT is a doormat and I will take down the enemy with the authority and power of Jesus. That is why my when 3D ultrasound and all the “specialists” were ready for my Down Syndrome child to be born he was not only born 100% healthy despite all the pictures taken…he was born circumcised, to me a sign from God himself.
Well, enjoy you sign.
Let’s do this right here in front of everyone. And I’ll share my number and address to ANYONE who wants to see my own personal documented miracles. Ken, you could not be further from the truth in your message and my goal is to take down the enemy stronghold on your limited belief system of what God can do in your life and ESPECIALLY your groupies online.
Evidentily you did not read my challenge. It is not YOU we want to hear from. We want the names and addresses of those who meet the qualifications on the blog.
If you believe all that you stated above, Ken, then why did you bother to write this book?
Ken Blue says
I did not write it!
